Update: Unfortunately, Daniela is currently overbooked and not taking on new clients. Therefore you won’t find appointments with her in our online booking system. If you are an existing client or have a particular reason why you think she should still see you, please email or text us.

We highly recommend our osteopath Rosie for all musculoskeletal problems and our nutrition assistant Nina for nutrition advice (all her treatments are still supervised by Daniela).

Thank you for understanding!

Daniela is the owner of tonika health and is proud to have created a professional, sustainable and ethical practice with a sensational team of practitioners. Daniela is realistic, direct and caring. What makes her tick are the amazing improvements she can achieve for people, often in a short time, improving their lives beyond pain and suffering they may have taken for granted.

Daniela combines over 15 years of clinical experience in naturopathy, sports therapy, nutrition and different massage styles with genuine care, a good dash of common sense and extensive study. As a sought after massage therapist, she is gifted at treating neck pain, and foot and hand problems. Her naturopathic specialities are focused mainly around digestive health, which in itself has far reaching effects on energy, mood, mental health, allergies and your general sense of being well. Daniela emphasises building strength and resilience in your body, and takes a strong stand against over-diagnosis, treating clients in an overprotective or dishonest way, and any kind of unnecessarily complicated or restricted diets.

In another life, Daniela was headhunted to be a senior executive for a German national broadcaster after having been a successful producer of natural history documentaries and travel shows for TV all over the world. After 15 years of a hectic media life, she suffered chronic stress and burnout. A sabbatical in Australia followed, which lead to making Sydney her home and a new life centred on natural health.

Daniela loves to make a difference: to people, to animals, and – wherever possible – to the world. She brings this passion into all that she does. Her experience as a successful 100, 200 and 400m sprinter helps in her work with both elite and casual athletes. She has worked as a lecturer, speaker and educator, writer for health websites, and is a licensed volunteer wildlife carer with WIRES, the Wildlife Information Rescue and Education Service NSW. She loves spending her free time walking her two cheeky rescue dingoes.

Daniela is proud to have created a practice that is open, real and friendly, where you can heal, feel great, address longstanding problems and basically become able to do better the things you love and that really matter, through achieving and maintaining your health. You’ll appreciate her no-nonsense approach and her genuine care for you.
